1997 saw us well covered by the off-road media. The three major UK titles showed both pictures of the vehicle and editorial information. In some cases, being shown in several concurrent editions.
The magazines we were covered in last year include:
Land Rover Owner International, International Off-Roader and Land Rover World. Each of these has an international distribution with Land Rover Owner International having a current circulation in excess of 80,000 a month with subscribers in 38 countries. International Off-Roader has a monthly circulation in excess of 25,000 and Land Rover World has a monthly circulation of 12,000.
In addition we were featured heavily in "The Yorkie" (the magazine of the Yorkshire Rover Owners Club) with both pictures, including a cover picture, and editorial reviews of our performance.
Obviously, in 1998 we hope to continue our good relationship with the Off-Road press and hope to receive similar if not increased levels of coverage.
